article-Bhāl Tilak

The Bhāl Tilak is made up of Kanku (inside) and Chandan (outside). Chandan represents suratā and nuratā (both meaning steady and deep concentration of the mind). The ‘Brahma Rudra’ (mind-spirit energy point) is located behind the tip of the Bhāl Tilak and is the place where the ANSHA resides.
